Welcome to the website of the United Benefice of Brailsford, Ednaston, Osmaston,
Shirley and Yeaveley - five churches working in close partnership, in the south
of the Derby Dales. There are a variety of services each Sunday and during
the week and you will be very welcome at any of them. Whether you
are looking for a church, wanting to get married or have your child
baptised or have questions about Christianity we hope this website
will answer your questions. If it doesn't please give us a call.

K@ch  -  (Kids at Church)  -  is a new initiative on 1st Sunday of each month to provide children's activities for parents who wish to drop their children off at Brailsford Methodist Church before going on to the service at All Saints, Brailsford. Children can be dropped off from 10.15am

CONGRATULATIONS!! to Osmaston Primary School for achieving 'outstanding' status at their recent Ofsted inspection.  

The recent flower festivals and open days held at Osmaston, Yeavelely and Brailsford were all well supported. A big 'thank you' goes to all those who gave flowers, their time and talents, or their gifts of money.

NEW ITEMS ADDED to 'Gallery' and 'Forthcoming Events'.  Click the links on the left to get you there.  

The YMCA are collecting any items used for cleaning, ie washing up liquid, dusters, cloths, sprays to give to former homeless people moving into their first home. Any donations can be brought to the church office in Brailsford on a Tuesday or Thursday morning.

Need to Borrow a Wheelchair?
We have been given a wheechair which is available for use at any of our church services or events.

If you would like to borrow it - please contact us at the church office giving at least 3 days notice if possible.

  • Church growth and outreach top agenda


    Church growth, outreach and the means of achieving them topped the bill at Saturday’s meeting of the Derby Diocesan Synod at Masson Mill, Matlock Bath.

     

    Bishops, clergy and laity heard the Bishop of Derby, Dr Alastair Redfern, talk about the importance of vocation in mission [see separate release].
